About this event

In our second Start-up Leeds session, we’ll be covering how to build the foundations for a successful business through managing and setting expectations and understanding your motivations.

In this interactive session, you’ll be guided through the expectations, capability and motivation model to help take your business to the next step.

In this workshop, you’ll:

• Gain an understanding of the theory and practical advice behind building your own business

• Draft your own business plan, including clear objectives and how to measure performance

• Develop an action plan for building your skills through a skills audit

• Get tips for remaining motivated and focused

This workshop will be delivered by Gareth Allen.

About Gareth:

Gareth Allen is an experienced coach who works with start-up businesses as well as large corporate organisations. Having occupied senior management roles in retail and banking, he now runs his own business and helps others to achieve their potential.

About Start-up Leeds:

Start-up Leeds gives anyone with a business idea the skills and confidence they need to take their business further. The programme will be delivered in selected libraries across the city, starting in Horsforth Library and linking into a wider programme of talks at Leeds Central Library, and will feature a range of specialists covering the skills and knowledge you need to take your business to the next step.
