Podcasts – An effective business tool

Tuesday 19 May 2020 – 5.30pm – 7.30pm

Darren Harper is an experienced broadcaster with over 20 years’ experience, both here and in Australia. He presented a commercial radio breakfast show in Leeds for 10 years and is now the co-host of the LS11 Podcast (British Podcast Award nominee 2019). He’s been teaching sports journalism, radio and podcasts for the last seven years – and has been at Leeds Trinity for three years.

If you’re wondering how podcasts could be a vital tool for your business – this is the session for you. Darren will take you through the nuts and bolts of how to produce, present, monetarise and market a podcast.

Whether you’re looking to promote your business or attract new customers – podcasts could be the key. Podcasts are a growing sector in the broadcast arena, which could be utilised to gain new customers, product/service promotions or simply a place to talk about your area of business.
