Operations Strategy: Supply Chain Contracts

Friday 10 December 2021, 12:00-14:00

An operations strategy considers the management of your business resources and the systems that deliver your service.

A robust operations strategy identifies what business resources should be doing, then makes sure they do it as efficiently as possible; maximizing value by efficient use of resources to meet customer requirements.

Taken from real business practice by leaders in their fields, from Procter & Gamble to ASDA, this approach will ensure you only make decisions that are good for your business, reducing the risk to your bottom line.

Supply Chain Contracts are an integral part of your operations strategy. We have all recently seen the impact of external factors on supply chains globally.

So how can you ensure yours is robust and adaptable?

This session will help provide part of an operations framework that can inform and improve your strategic decision making, to achieve your business’s long-term objectives.

Overview:

This session will outline what Supply Chain Contracts are, why you should have one, and how to successfully use them to ensure successful business operations.

Contracts are commonly seen as something that is agreed at the outset of a relationship, put in a drawer, and only reviewed when something has gone wrong.

This session will explore why you should make your Supply Chain Contracts living documents, that can be adjusted to your business requirements and respond to demands within your supply chain partnerships.

This session will be delivered remotely through Microsoft Teams.
