Legal obligations can seem daunting, but to operate legally and protect your business interests, they have got to be followed.
The fact is that the ‘legals’ are far easier to manage if you understand your responsibilities sooner rather than later. If you take the time to understand the basics at the outset, it will make it easier for you to make informed choices, and to decide what is in the best interests and the right approach for you and your business.
So how can I do that?
Led by legal specialists from Leeds Trinity University, this seminar will explain the important background to the legal issues which businesses have to address – including the legal framework, legal requirements and the regulatory bodies which can provide additional guidance. The session will also signpost to other information sources on the issues relevant to legal compliance.
We will cover 10 topics:
• Business Structures
• Business Rates
• Business to Business Contracts
• Employment Law
• Articles of Association
• Memorandum of Association
You will leave the session with a good overview of each legal topic, which will enable you to make decisions about what kind of business structure to adopt and help keep your business legally compliant.
Frank Dignan and John Philip Moorhouse will deliver this webinar.
