My Business is Now Bigger Than Me – What Next?
Once a business becomes more than the Founder/s can handle, what are the next steps? This workshop explores a number of options on how to increase the capacity of a business, looking at the pros and cons of each option. This workshop is delivered by Grounded Human Resources.
Using a series of activities, we will support delegates to understand the tasks in their business and prioritise where they should spend their time vs getting additional help using a fun/skills matrix as a tool to support participants to understand the many roles they carry out as a small business owner. We will cover the pros and cons of freelancers, outsourcing, and hiring employees. By the close of the workshop delegates will have a clearer understanding of their needs and priorities, and an action plan to take their business forward.
KEY LEARNING POINTS
1. An understanding of where the delegates like to spend their time within their business.
2. The pros and cons of the three main ways to increase capacity within their business.
3. The benefits of tracking their time spend before rushing to make any decisions on expanding capacity.
